Pueblo Marinero Hotel

Hi, we are considering Playa Blanca next year as we can now fly from our home town direct and it sounds a lovely place from the reviews. The Puebo Marinero hotel was one we fancied, sounds nice and has good reviews. I know it is near to marina rubicion, but is this the main marina where all the restaurants are or is there another marina? Is it near to the Irish Anvil bar and to where you get the boat to Fueurentoro. Could we easily walk or taxi from one end of the prom to the other, we are in our 60s and I enjoy walking but hubby has arthritis (coupled with lazyitis!) so he doesn't like to have to walk too far. We do like a bit of nightlife, music bars, nice restaurants etc. Thank you.

poshpaws pueblo marinero isnt a hotel. its an apartment complex.....sorry dont want to seem like im splitting hairs but it is small as opposed to the large hotel complexes that look like palaces in comparison.but that was the attraction for us when we stayed there, small friendly and relaxing.there is only one marina but there is also the harbour at the opposite end of playa blanca where the ferry docks. marina rubicon isnt just where all the reseraunts are, they are spread right across the resort, and the walk from the marina end to the harbour end is a good 40 mins at least. hope this helps.

Thank you for your prompt reply, that is good we like to stay in an apartment if possible for the freedom and we are not keen on these big complexes. We would probably have to get a taxi from one end to the other, or perhaps walk part of the way. This seems to be a good place for us to stay. We are thinking of June or Sept next year. Cheers.
