Princess Yaiza hotel beach arrangements

Have just booked this hotel for the first week of December and I have been trying to find out about the dorada beach arrangements. I gather this is a public beach but does the hotel Yaiza have sunbeds there you can use, or do you pay as you use them with a local vendor? Also we love good tapas, can anyone recommend a really good tapas restaurant in playa blanca. Many thanks

Hi Debbie, the beds on the Dorado beach are run by the Yaiza staff but you still have to pay for the beds, 3 euro's each and 3 euro's for a parasol at least that what I understand, as people next to us had the hotel towels but still paid for the beds

It is a public beach and was there, complete with beach bar before the hotel was built. Yaiza guests have to pay for beds like everyone else.

there's a great tapas place at the commercial centre beside your hotel. Not a great location since it's inside the concrete complex but Taberna Godino is really authentic and great value.

For tapas with a view, try El mirador or La Terraza la Cubierta at Marina Rubicon or Bodegon las Tapas in town centre - expensive but good quality.

For italian style tapas, Casale Franco (same complex as Taberna Godino, right above Burger King) with stunning sea views from the terrace is planning to open at lunchtimes very soon. Their food, service and ambience are superb, so be sure to check that out.

Thank you very much for the replies, that's all great, at least we know what to expect on the beach and make sure we take euros down with us! We have a week there so will probably be able to try all those tapas bars/restaurants JoMark! Really looking forward to some warmer weather as well ... we hope! I gather the evenings may be cool this time of year though so will take fleece top and light coat just in case. Haven't been to Lanzarote for about 20 years so will be nice to go back. Greatly appreciate your help on here, thank you. Debbie,
