best villa required please !

Hi everyone, can you please recommend a detached villa, with its own small pool, in Playa Blanca, within easy walking distance to shops/restaurants/marina ? Prefer not to be on a complex if possible. Retired couple - not ravers but enjoy being sociable ! So a quiet location, not far to walk would be good. Travelling on 1st January 2015. Thanks folks !

Trying to find something like that for peak dates might be a challenge! Most villas, especially those not on complexes are quite a way out of resort. You could look on Los Calamares. It's 5/7 mins walk to the promenade and are the closest villas to the centre of the resort you will find. It's not a complex as such, but was built as a residential estate. Most villas are individually designed, apart from a few that are semis. The majority of rental villas have pools. There are still quite a few residential properties with a mix of nationalities, so not just tourists. Most are reasonably well spaced out as well.

We are staying in the Ocean Dreams Marina and Spa. Our third time staying here. Located just at the Marina a short walk (approx 10/15 mins) towards the harbour. It has it's own pool and very quiet. Highly recommend it.

Me and my partner and 3 kids booked a villa as its cheaper for us to do it this way and managed to find one that charges the same price all year round. Its about a 20 min walk to the marina from where we stay but its a lovely walk along the sea front and there is a bus stop/taxi rank minutes away from the villa. Its on a lovely quiet street too. Here is the link for it just hope the post doesnt get removed as not sure links are allowed :( http://www.homeaway.co.uk/p88588
