Sunrise / sunset

We are staying at coconut bay in November, what are the sunrise and sunsets like on this part of the island ? What are the best places to see both?

Sunrises are great as it rises right over the sea in front of the resort (resort faces east). You'll have to be up pretty early though! Sunsets are not as great as it takes place behind the resort, and some hills. You still get a lovely sky sometimes, but they aren't as great as on the other side of the island.

To see both, one spectacular spot is the lighthouse atop Moule a Clique, or a little higher up at the communications lot (this is open 24/7, while lighthouse closes around 5). Or the viewing platform atop Marne LeBlanc in Laborie - great viewing platform for the entire south end of the island from the Pitons all the way around through Coconut Bay and up the east coast.

Enjoy your visit.

the view from the communications lot is ok, but I think the viewing platform at Morne Le Blanc would be much better for sunset.
