Firth of Thames

Hello.

Just wondering if the drive down the east coast road is worth it for the firth of Thames to reach the Coromandel, or should we just continue along the highway.

Cheers

If you are wanting to make a stop to visit the shorebird resrve at Miranda, or to picnic at one of the eastern beaches in the Beachlands/Maraitai area - drive one of the coastal roads.

If you are keener to reach Thames and explore the Coromandel itself, take the Southern Motorway - main highway route.
