Renting "little boats" in the Aeolians.

I've seen several posts on the forum where people talk about how lovely it is to rent a small boat and explore whichever island they've chosen. How experienced must a person be in piloting these boats? We've been many places where novices could get into trouble quickly and find themselves miles out to sea! It does sound like fun and a real adventure, however. I'd appreciate all opinions for this landlubber!

Ciao ellasahar,

If the weather is good and the seas are calm, you can rent a little boat and explore the very beautiful seas and coves around the islands.

If you're really a landlubber and uncomfortable about doing this, you could always hire someone to take you out.
