Broadbeach accommodation

Hi there,

We're planning a trip to gold co for this coming Nov.

Our budget is around AUD660 for 4 nights for three adults.

We are deciding between Mantra Sierra Grand & San Mateo.

If anyone has stayed in either one of them, could you give us some feedback please?

And if there is any other self-contained apartment similar to above within our budget, could you recommend us some please?

Thanks alot :)

Hi Rusty and welcome to GC forums,

Firstly, and most importantly, the San Mateo (3.5 stars) is not in the same class as Sierra Grande, which is brand new and a very solid 4 star +.

So on building quality alone, the S.G wins hands down. That said, S.M is closer to the beach and in a quieter position.

If you do go for the S.G, ask for a east facing balcony as high as possible. This is because S.G is situated on a very busy intersection.

Also check out the Ultra Apartments, The Verve and The Wave Apartments which are in the same area, of the same high standard yet in a better locale.

Also for an indication of price and availability in this area you should do some searches on wotif.

Any more questions just ask...

Hi

Check out www.beachfrontviscount.com.au, we are staying there in November. Got good reviews on TA.

Worth a look.
