We found the main beach in Caleta to be ok and sandy imported I think. But there is pebbles/rocks and shingle as you enter the water which is not so good..When we went for our second visit in October we walked a little futher to the beach infront of the Shereton Hotel and that was fab lovely and sandy right out into the water..

Yes its a man made beach ,and sandy , unless the tide is out ,the better of the two beaches is at the Altlantico /Shereton Hotel area .

Hi lesley,

You will not be disapointed with that beach we thought it was fab and went most days there..The sunloungers are the same price as the main beach €9 for 2 beds and a brolly..

Enjoy :)
