First Family holiday to Cala n Bosch

Hi Everyone

My Hubby and I are looking at looking at booking our first family holiday abroad. We have read lots of reviews and decided we want to stay in Cala N Bosch. After reading all the reviews we are struggling to decide on accomodation. We will be travelling with our 3 children - 7 year old, 3 year old and 20month old and are looking to go early June. We are ideally looking to for self catering accomodation but we would like to option to upgrade to All Inclusive for some or all of our stay once we have got there. Any recommendations or opinions would be really appreciated. Thanks

The problem with wanting to upgrade to all inclusive for some of the holiday in resort, is until the season starts your not likley to be able to contact any complex. While people can say it was an option last season, sometimes places change hands or get new management . Also its normally only avaliable if they have others staying all inclusive, so I would have a look at what places do it, and narrow it down from that.

Here is the resort map, www.menorca-minorca.co.uk/bosch_map.htm.

Places to the left of the yellow road are a 15 min to the marina/beach area, and places on the right edge are close to 1 beach, and a 10 min walk to the other beach, and marina area.

We spent a fabulous 2 weeks at Marinda Garden 3 years ago, so good we are returning this year! they had the option to upgrade to AI, hopefully still do as we will do so for a week of our stay probably!

Hi

The Paradise club has SC and AI options, has great kids entertainment and is very close to shops restaurants, and quite close to the beach.

We stayed there early June last year and it was very enjoyable.

Oh, and its highly rated on TA.

Hi for the last three years we have stayed at Cala n'Bosch for a fortnight in July / August self catering - excellent restaurants although quite repetitive after a week or so! We stayed for the first two years at the Paradise Club which was really good, excellent mini disco and night time entertainment for the children. We opted for the half board option for five days in the middle of the holiday to break the holiday up and this was good value for money. All inclusive wouldn't work for us as our two children love the Goody Goody Park during the day and this costs 11 euros for an all day pass but this includes a meal. However last year it was very expensive at the Paradise in peak season so we tried the Marinda Gardens. Felt that the facilities and the entertainment were no where nearly as good as the Paradise and when not AI 4 euros for a beer was a total rip off! If looking forward to your first family holiday abroad would definitely recommend paying the extra money and staying at the Paradise.
