i've found a decent deal for our trip to cala'n bosch but its on a website i've never heard of, sunshine.co.uk, anyone heard of them or booked with them?

I've found a similar deal on website onthebeach.com but more expensive. Thanks

a quick look at the site tells you it's just another branded online tourist agent website ( Hays Travel Ltd ) Hays have been around along time-look them up directly if concerned?

What you do need to be aware of, is its very likley this is not a package holiday your booking. If your not 100% sure if your buying a package or not, its best to phone them to check. You can still do the booking online to get any discount they offer for booking that way, once you know what your paying for.

A package has to include return flights (not seperate each way), with somewhere to stay, and paid on 1 invoice. This means they have duty of care from check in, untill they get you back to the airport your due to land at.

Sites like this are often cheaper, but you will normally find an option to book a flight, then add somewhere to stay etc, but its considered to be sold seperately. They tend to hide behind loop holes in the law so its not considered a package by

1, Seperate flight tickets (2x one way, not 1 x return), even if both legs are on same airline

2, Payment made for flights, and a 2nd transaction for the Hotel/Appartment

In a situation like Ash Cloud, if your not on a package, your on your own.

Good insuarance is a must, and if you have a credit card, phone them to check protection and time limits, as often you do get some protection if you pay this way, even if the very next min, you pay the balance to your credit card to avoid any interest.

We used Sunshine 2 years ago for our trip to Tenerife & they were ok, no problems. Were the cheapest we found too.

We booked with Hays Travel and went September 2011. They put the package together for us, Separate Fight, Transfer & Room half board at the Valintin star and there was no problem it was just like being on a package holiday. Everything was spot on. So if your thinking about booking with Hays Travel go right ahead they were spot on.

We've also booked through Hays Travel for this September and we were given a really good deal for the flights, apartments and transfers.

Ive only just read your question, albeit a bit late for you now, I would like to say we book with sunshine at least twice a year and never had any problems.Their prices are always keen and sale service is very good.Their are new regulations out now to protect "tailor made holidays".We also book with travel republic who are quite good.hope this helped
