Christmas in the Berkshires

I want to go to the Berkshires around Christmas time. Which Hotel / Resort has the most Christmas Activities / Fun activities including sports/entertainment, as well as the best in dining and accoutrements (Spa, fitness etc)?

I don't think there is one place strong in all areas.which is optional? Check out red lion and canyon ranch for starters.

Thx...I think the Christmas activities are a premium...the fitness and pool are easily verifiable.

My favorite place in the Berkshires is the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge. They do have a massage therapist on staff, but no pool or fitness center. Real old-fashioned place which is what I associate with Christmas.

There are plenty of other inns and resorts in the Berkshires:

I am a little confused as to what you mean by Christmas activities? For sports there's skiing, boarding and snow tubing. Places like Jiminy Peak & Vacation Village might be more of what you're looking for

Not sure would call VV one of the best lodging and I own there. And skiing is iffy at xmas in NH and VT let alone in MA.

Agreed that VV is not the best. Cranwell probably the "best" in terms of accoutrements & they do offer cross-country skiing & a fitness center. Canyon Ranch is a top notch spa but you'd likely end up relaxed but hungry; Red Lion is lovely, but the food is not top notch & no activities or sports as far as I know. And, if we take skiing out of the mix, what's left in December? Maybe hiking? There is a nice bowling alley in Great Barrington.

No word on what is mean by "Christmas activities." It is difficult to advise when the question is unclear.
