Spring Break trip--march

I am overwhelmed with choices of where to stay for Spring break trip in March. Coming with 3 teens looking to stay on beach and make day trips to Charleston. Was looking at Folly and then read about the renourishment of the beach. Doesn't sound like the time to go there. Is IOP the best option? What about where to stay there?

Do you want a hotel or a condo? Folly has one hotel and the Isle of Palms has 3, Sullivan's Island has none.

The Tides on Folly. The Boardwalk Inn in Wild Dunes on the Isle of Palms and 2 hotel/condotels that get mixed reviews, the Seaside Inn and The Palms.

Plenty of condos and homes available on the Isle of Palms, however, you need to get something pretty soon. Many other people have the same idea. You can look in the resort of Wild Dunes or just elsewhere on the island. Condos in Wild Dunes and also the "front beach" portion of the island, The Sea Cabins. Look on www.vrbo.com or use a local rental agency.
