Where to go????

Hi,

We are spending a few days in Key West and are looking for somewhere a bit quieter to finish off our hol this summer. We are a couple early 30's looking to relax, eat out, stroll & browse. Not interested in busy busy family resorts. We were looking at Sanibel (quite expensive). Any ideas would be greatly welcomed. Somewhere near the sea, relaxing with some nice restaurants (casual & otherwise), sunsets, picnic places. Just total chill out. Somewhere with a bit of life but not overly crowded. Not familiar at all with Florida so any help would be greatly appreciated. We will have a car. Thank you.

We were at Naples a couple of years ago and loved it, it is exactly the sort of place to chill out with some great places to eat and a lovely beach. We are going back in September.

Honestly, most of the major beach towns on the west coast fit that description. Sounds like you should search a few by price and your return airport location and you won't go wrong.

Ft. Myers Beach. Check out Pink Shell, Edison Beach House and Diamondhead all Beachfront. Just across the 2 lane street, check out Holiday Court and Silver Sands. All near Time Square. Holiday and Sands on the Back Bay for fishing/crabbing. I prefer the ones on the Back bay and walk across the street for nightlife, bars, shopping and live entertainment.
