please comment on itinerary

We will be arriving in Calgary very late on the 7/10 and want to do one day at the Stampede stay over and head on our way on Sunday--either directly to Banff or to glacier/waterton--SEE BELOW-- We need to stay in calgary 7/21 for early flight home on 7/22.

The things we want to see the most on the trip are banff, lake louise, jasper. Possibly want to go to

other parks in area--not sure which are the best.

Thinking of going to glacier and waterton GTS road if have time by taking red bus or shuttle--possibly doing boat trip in waterton

PLEASE COMMENT on other parks or sights to see and if GNP is high on the list of sights to see compared to whereas we will be. Thanks for any help

Please look at this itinerary and see if it works.

I can also do the same basic itinerary and go to glacier on the last Sun and Monday head back on tues.

PLEASE COMMENT.

We will only do short hikes(2-3 miles round trip), would like to go on gondola up mountain(not sure if this is in Banff or Jasper), go on a boat trip or two--maybe a float trip that is extremely tame.

Hard to go wrong with either option but I would suggest option#1, doing Waterton/Glacier first. Nothing bad to say about it, it's a beautiful area but if you save it for last it may be just a teeny/tiny bit anticlimatic compared to some of the other areas you will be seeing.
