We are a newly retired 60 yr old couple who love beautiful natural attractions and enjoy hiking easy to moderate trails. We are driving from the East Coast and have a timeshare vacation starting the last week in August in Jackson Hole for a week, followed by a week in Yellowstone NP cabins, a timeshare week near Glacier National Park in Wyoming, followed by week near Banff National Park in Canada, and then a week in Birch Bay, WA (close to Vancouver).
We have a week between Banff NP and Birch Bay that needs to be booked and our timeshare choices are Nanoose Bay or Lake Okanagan - this would be late September. Based on our other locations, where would you stay based on the other locations visited?
Or should we just do a road trip and visit some of the national parks in WA and Oregon such as Crater Lake and Olympic NP? Is this doable or are they too far apart? Any other suggestions?
Thanks for any comments.
