Wondering what a good central location would be to everything? Also, can you walk the beach

Depends on what Casita you plan to book.

We had a regular Casta in building 25, which is the first set of Casitas in the section. This is about as central as you can get. The first three sections don't have swim outs, starting with section 28 having the swim outs to the pools. These pools then begin to be a bit larger. 31 has the Infinity pools on top level. 32 is the Vacation Club rooms and are private to those guests.

The beach in front of 25-26 is all rock and not walkable... Most of it is roped off.

The best beach for swimming is down in front of JoJo's Restaurant, along the pier. Along with the beach up in front of Casitas 30-31, which is nice and quiet and pretty much all sand out to the sandbags.

We loved the Casitas-- especially the pools... Never even used the Royale side after being pampered in our Casita pool.

Feel free to message me with questions- I've stayed here twice this year and plan to return in July.

What are your two top restaurant recommendations? Are there a lot of day activities?

My favorites were La Isla or Kampai for breakfast, Health Bar, La Cabana and El Rincon for Lunch and Kampai or Casitas Italia for dinner. There will also be a new steakhouse opening this November.

Lots of stuff to do all over the resort. The main pools have water activities, snorkeling off the beach, volleyball on the beach, bike tours, etc. They have all the activities and shows listed on the newsletter and board by JoJo's.

By no means a boring place-- but can be quiet and tranquil if that's what you want!
