Uk couple honeymoon ERC vs SM

Hi anyone reading this! We are a young uk couple looking to book our honeymoon in either the excellence Rivera or the secrets maroma. To keep it simple I'll outline what we like and don't like and then if anyone has been to either we'd really appreciate your thoughts to help us decide.

Swim up room

Excellent service

Great beach to take long walks

Sea you can swim in

Variety of restaurants and great food

All drinks included - no hidden charges!

Little extras thrown in

Nice bars to meet others but still romantic to spend time alone

Don't like-

Rude staff

Overcrowded resort

Lack of beach beds or space round the pool

Loud partying! (We will be on honeymoon!)

Poor service

Thank anyone who takes the time to reply!!!

Thought I would bump this up since no one has responded to your post...

Either would fit most, but not all of your criteria.

Clearly SMB wins for beach. ERC has seagrass and the ocean entry is not near as nice for sure. They both offer swim up rooms. Neither are a "party" resort, but a lot of that will depend on how full the resort is at the time of your stay as well as the other clientele there at the same time.
