Anyone know the current taxi fare from the airport to Kalamaki ? Last time we used a taxi transfer it was 10 Euro.
12 now but taxis are on strike and no day given when it will end.
re the taxis, we will take kevins advice and pay a tour operator as we have 2 children, as long as we get to our hotel in kalamaki thats all that matters, the sun will be out and the island is lovely
If you are going soon i would advise contacting your tour operator before you go as they are charging E15 per person per journey and only if room left on the bus.
You never know may be cheaper to book in advance?!
as i go on thursday i emailed our hotel and they will pick us up if taxis are still on strike
Bet that's a relief Lancslass.
That's good that they are going to pick you up. Least you don't have the worry of when you land and can just get on with enjoying your holiday!!!
yea your not kidding fife, 1 less worry off my mind now :o)
We're not arriving until 23rd September so I guess no need to panic just yet. Father-in-law and mother-in-law coming out to join us on the 25th for 7 nights - I convinced them not to take the tour operators transport - hoping it's over with by the time we are there as they WILL panic if I tell them what's going one......
taxi strike is off till 5th sept then they may strike again
Okay, that's good.. Thanks
