Where to stay in Jandia

We have stayed in the Barcelo in Caleta de fuste and in the Barcelo in Corraleco and are now thinking of trying the Jandia/costa Calma area. We are looking for a nice hotel, preferably on the beach with good food and entertainment. My husband enjoyed the live bands in the rock cafe ...is there much entertainment in Jandia. Also is it a much windier than the other areas. Thanky ou for your help.

Hi Analissa.

Ive always found it not to be so windy in the south of the island and a bit warmer. There are several hotels in Costa Calma which are "on the beach" and several in Jandia overlooking the beach. Not sure about entertainment but there are plenty of bars to choose from.

Thank you. Worried that Costa Calma would be too quiet.

Hi Analissa

We stayed at the Club Jandia Princess last year and had a good time. In fact we have just booked up to go again in July this year (price too good to miss) and would have no hesitations recommending this hotel. It is not particularly lively in the evenings at the hotel, but we really go to get some hot sun and relax. As a note - the hotels in Jandia to the best of my knowledge are mostly all set on the cliff tops. Think one of the Iberostar hotels is more beach level but you have to cross/pass under a road and the sea is quite a way from the hotel. It is also the last hotel in the line. It is not so windy in Jandia and it has been scorching hot both times we went - March and September/October (memory fails me!). There is some good shopping in the town of Jandia itself. Hope this helps. If you want more info message me.

Thankyou. Just noticed that the barcelo has a new hotel for adults only. Does anyone know if it has a beach side location.

Sorry just realised that the club premium is just a section of the hotel reserved for adults.
