2 days and a night

Hello to all you wonderful people :)

Me and my friends would be visiting Pondicherry from Bangalore for 2 days.

we are a group of 4 students and therefore are on a budget so people guide me on which is the best way to get there from Bangalore and where to stay, where to eat?

hi Anandi

you can take up the public transport. thats the cheapest way for you to reach.

check for KSRTC you have even volvo bus to chennai and from chennai you can take another bus to pondicherry.

from chennai volvo busses also ply.

there is another idea also

try tnstc.in bangalore to chengalpattu - there is a ultra deluxe bus, rajahamsa equivalent.

you can check B and B section of TA for stay place

Hi Anandi9215,

You are in a budget tour still asking best way to reach pondicherry ? Best way is to hire a taxi from Bangalore reach there which is fastest

If it does not suit your budget take bus journey click this link of redbus.in to make online reservation of bus service

Click Restaurant and Hotels link of pondichery forum you will get plenty of useful information

Hi

Trains start from Yeswantpur junction at Bangalore they do not run daily and it takes around 10 hours to reach pondichery visit www.irctc.co.in if you want to book online

Train journey is also a comfortable option
