Three weeks visit in March

We love all parts of India can we stay in Pondicherry for three weeks and not be bored are the beaches good for sunbathing. Do they have beach bars and shacks.

were is the best airport to fly into from England.

This is a very subjective question as it totally depends on your interests and preferences. Pondicherry is not like Goa and has slightly a different culture. There are no shacks or beach bars but for some private resorts and sea shore hotels. You have sunbathing options but not like the ones in Goa beach, where they rent out beds, accessories etc. All these may be available only in the resorts, which you may check prior.

The best airport to fly in for reaching Pondy would be Chennai.

Many thanks for your reply,could you suggest another place that we could split the holiday with.We do like to be near the sea and nice clean beach or resorts.

the sad fact is Goa is a one off

there are so many amazing beaches in this amazing sub-continant

but only in Goa do you find the beach-shack culture
