Travelling Nainital in Mid August

Dear Roy,

I am planning to visit Nainital (or somewhere else nearby) with my family from 15th- 19th Aug by car. Would you please suggest best tourist places around it. What precautions are required as i'm expecting rainy season there. What would be the temp. that time.

Don't include Haridwar, Rishikesh and Mussoorie.

Thanks,

Uttam

There are places ahead of Nainital like Bhimtal, Saattal & Naukuchiatal. these are very beutiful. You could also spend time watching some celestial bodies in the sky using the Telescope at ARIES(Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences.
