An interesting piece.
I was particularly taken with the statement that
"10 years ago, there was only one boat in Watamu "harbour" - sic
"Now, there are many and the water tastes of fuel"
I paraphrase, but I've been going to Watamu for more than 10 years, and there have always been more boats than that inside the reef, and as yet, I've yet to discover "Watamu harbour"!
Watamu can be a little "fragrant" at low tide, but that has nothing to do with the boats!
