Le Grau du Roi in autumn

We are going to visit Le Grau du Roi from 09.22 to 10.01. Is this time off season>? We were in Agde last year the same time and the weather was good, sunny and warm, cafes were open,no tourist, only locals...what situation in Le Grau du Roi? Are cafes open and local buses still going>?

Grau de Roi has residents who commute to Nimes, so it is motr active off peak than many of the other coastal resorts.

The end of September is off season but many of the shops will be discounting their remaining merchandise for liquidation. There are a few restaurants which remain open year around: Le Grand Large, Le Grand Sud, Le Flammant Rose, are just a few.

Le Grau du Roi is an important fishing village as well as tourist destination so it does not close down in winter as does Carnon, Palavas, or la Grande Motte.

Most of the buses and train to Nimes should still be running. The bus to Stes Maries de la Mer operates only in summer months.
