Club oceano pdc

Hi

Visiting pdc with the wife later this month

We originally planned to stay at the Elena aparts but on reflection the area may be a little in your face and noisy for us

Recently had a good offer from Club Oceano , they look good on their web site .would appreciate opinions from anyone who has visited them or has info on the location and surrounding area

Thanks in advance

Jim

Great location, 5 mins to the strip & only 15 to the Old Town.

Clean and quiet in the evening..........they also have a Jacuzzi !

Hi there.

We have stayed at these apartments twice in the last couple of years. They are very central. Mostly English people on the complex, receptionsists/bar staff all English, so it does make life easier.

Very clean and quite spacious, well equipped with proper oven and hobs. The pool area is also well maintained and we never had problems getting a sunbed around there.

There is a snack bar thats quite good and reasonably priced, there is also sky tv in the bar area thats shows the footy and stuff.

I would recommend Club Oceano, only small gripe is that some apartments are better situated than others. Not all the terraces are private and some are quite small. If this ain't a problem for you then go for it, but the company won't allocate a specific apartment before you go, both times we have been we have ended up with a small terrace that didn't get any sun. But apart from this aspect, I coudn't fault either the apartments or the management of the complex.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for all the advice

flights are already booked for 28th of this month so its just the accommodation to sort ,do we want to be right in the middle of all the action or do we want be be within easy reach of it ??

Elena sounds like it has a good selection of bars and restaurants right on the doorstep.

Oceano sounds nice and relaxing , but are there any bars restaurants etc in the immediate area >

The thing that concerns me about Elena is the Atlantico is right next door , never been to pdc before but not sure if it will be too in your face ????

I think you just have to be careful on which apartment you get at the Elena as some suffer noise more than the rest.

You wont have this problem at the Oceano and as far as bars nearby your 5 mins from the strip.........so best of both worlds IMO

Having stayed in both Elena and Princess Ico (Oceano sister apartments across the road) we would much prefer Elena.

We requested quite apartments at the very back of the apartment block which were excellent. The ones nearer the front would get much more noise.

Elena were much handier for the promenade and had the bonus of having no hills!! As 2 of our party were in there 60's it made a big difference. Email the Elena and request one of the appts at the back. They usually try to help where possible

Enjoy you holiday which ever one you choose
