Hi

Just returned from a week in Villa Nikki. Pics of the place hide a general lack of maintenance and finish. Not so much dirty as dirty looking. Biggest issue was that showers ran with a dribble and little hot water supply to them. Sent a guy round who explained that there was a long way from boiler to taps and therefore quite normal. We all shared the one shower that managed a good enough flow to get wet. Could not get signal for telly channels and eventually had to get the old telly from the basement just to watch a video.

Apart from that the area is nice and quiet - a few shops and bars (generally catering for the Brits) a short walk and a cheap 2 minute taxi ride to the port for restaurants and bars.

Our time was well-enjoyed but next time would consider something like a James Villas package as you can pretty-well guarantee the villa quality

Hi - Generally nice villa in a nice area - however, unless rectified since our visit, bear in mind that water flow to showers is almost non-existent, and accessories such as TV/Video are not to be relied upon - could not tune telly in to any channels. Wi-fi should also be ignored - signal is there but good only for the odd email - surfing is impossible as the signal will fall out if you attempt to download anything larger than a kilobyte or so.

Hi... We stayed in this villa 5 years ago when it was known as Casa Farra & were a little disappointed as we felt it was in need of TLC back then. Agree that it's let with an agent because we were told by him we could have a late check out, but on last day cleaner/friend of owner would not let us back inside after it was cleaned at 10:30 am . In its favour it had lots of space outside & pool was big & very well maintained. We didn't feel it deserved the luxury tag it was given though.

.......or Villa Niky, as it says on the gate post. If you want shabby-chic, this is the one for you....We went in September for a week, a party of two, expecting a luxury villa. What we got was a gloomy, large villa that desperately needed some attention. The front door hinges hadn't seen oil for years so every entrance/exit was like something from the Adams family. It was tidy and the lounge was very comfortable, but the upper bathrooms were smelly, and the showers had to run for some time to get hot water. The handle to the utility room was broken, as was the hairdryer in the large bathroom, and the bidet leaked all over the floor if the water was on fast flow. The kitchen was serviceable, but the can opener was broken, and there were no scissors to open food packaging.

On the plus side, the area is very quiet, with the harbour only a short walk away. The outside area was pleasant, (although the poole table needs recovering), but the pool was kept very clean (cleaned twice whilst we were there). We had fantastic weather so our holiday was great, but we were disappointed with the villa because our expextations were high due to the photographs on the web-site.
