Of the beaten track ideas?

We will be staying in pdc and thinking it would be nice to go inland abit for a day and find somewhere to stroll around and have a meal and generally put the day in away from the crowd has anyone got any ideas.

Thanks in advance

Hi

Any of the following: Yaiza,....Uga.....Tias....Teguise....Femes.....Haria.....Tinajo......or on the coast but different El Golfo.....Arrieta.....Orzola.....or you could just point the car in any direction and see where you end up.....plenty of ´´off-the-beaten-track´´places to find. Enjoy :)

Hi HC...........weekends are quieter on the forums than during the week. I'm sure when Keith or Rich (DE's who live on the island) see your post they'll give you some great advice.

In the meantime see a similar Q and their replies here tripadvisor.co.uk/…40397241

am planning to some inland visits this year. Don't drive so will be busing and taxis. Have 'threatened' to go to Tias and Yaiza. Walk and explore.

Went to yaiza as part of the south tour yesterday. Lovely wee quiet village and a few restaurants!

I'd go for Orzola, Haria, San Bartolomé or Tinajo for off of the beaten track.

Hello, I'd say El Golfo is a great getaway place ,just a small row of restaurants that specialise in fish and seafood right on the rocks.

Head there for lunch as shut early evening.....:-)

Femes, Orzola, El Golfo. or Famara, all of which have their own charms although only Femes is "inland". For something completely different, a ferry trip to La Graciosa.

In the north - the hills above Haria are well off the beaten track - def worth a trip.

The most "off the beaten track" place would be Graciosa - small island only accessibly via boat from Orzola.

Well worth a day trip.
