Los Cristianos is about 12/15 min by taxi from the airport, Playa de las Americas about 15/20 min - Golf del Sur is closer but there is more happening in Los Cris/PDLA - both of these are very poplular with all ages and cater for everyone.
Happy hols

Hi, there are two airports in Tenerife, The older Airport is in the north, and depending now long ago you last visited, you may have flown into here. It is now used mainly by internal flights and those from mainland Spain. All UK flights use the newer sourthern airport. However Tenerife is a 'small' island with a good motorway system and you can get to all part of the island from the airpot with an hour and a half. We fly from Bristol to Tenerife with Ryanair and stay in Puerto de la Cruz, traveling from the airport by bus. It is a easy journey and less than 6€. So dont restrict yourself to the sourthern resorts just because they are close to the airport. Tenerife is a lovely island and full of contrasts, north to south, east to west.
Thanks Rickybear I have fond memories of Porte De Le Cruz hope to add
it to my itinerary.

Rickybear - I have just checked Ryanair for the dates we are going in June, also from Bristol, and Easyjet works out at a lot cheaper - you may want to think use them next time, we paid £267 for 2 where Ryanair wanted over £400.
