A taxi from the airport to Afitos will cost around 75-80 euros..Take a look at this one and if you decide to do so,send them an enquiry.I'm sure they will respond back quickly..

Another option to consider - We caught the buses - approximately 15 mins from airport to bus station, then 1 hour 20 mins to Afitos. Buses seemed frequent, on time and clean. The local bus drivers were really helpful, as we're the staff at the bus station. Approx E10 each one way.

The buses are indeed nice and clean and accurate . The website of "KTEL HALKIDIKIS" , the company that runs the buses, with the timetables to and from Athitos is the following : www.ktel-chalkidikis.gr/index.php…

Make sure you check your arrival on the airport with the times of the next couple of buses and see which is better for you. Keep in mind that you will need around 10-15 minutes by taxi from the airport to KTEL Halkidiki, or around 25-30 minutes by bus.

Just did this trip yesterday, to get to Ktel halkidikis can take the 78 bus from the airport but get off at the IKEA stop (yes, the store) then the 36 to the bus terminal (this is €0.80 trip).

Then get a bus from ktel halkidikis to Afytos, the bus generally leaves hourly, it was clean, €8.50, takes about 1.5hrs and most people in the terminal and on the bus speak a bit of english. Website is www.ktel-chalkidikis.gr

Warning! I asked the lady at the airport bus ticket terminal and she said to get the 78 bus to the end of the line, unfortunately this gets you to ktel Macedonia! That took about 1.5hrs and goes through the city of Thessaloniki. If you find you end up here, just get the 45 bus back to ktel halkidikis. Again, only €0.90 trip, quick clean bus.

Otherwise may just get the taxi from the airport to ktel halkidikis (also spelt Chalkidikis) and the bus to afytos.
