Holiday Village select rooms

Hi.

Could anyone tell me where the select rooms are situated? It says on the First Choice website that they are poolside. Is this the main pool, or the smaller pools?

Cheers.

Smaller pools. But the main pools are fairly central and aren't a massively long walk from the select rooms. If you look at the hotel complex on Google Maps (or similar) the Select rooms are located in the smaller blocks to the left of the main building (look like matchboxes on the map)

Cheers.

Booked up to go in the middle of September and didn't know if it was worth upgrading to a suite? Are they in a similar position? Have you stayed in a select room and did you get a double bed? Can you just walk out of the room and the pool is in your doorstep? Sorry for all the questions, but struggling to find much info on the select rooms!

If you look on google maps on satellite view you will see three smaller pools, the bocks next to these are the select rooms. You get a dvd player and tea and coffee making facilities I think. I forget where I saw all the info on them now. We upgraded to a suite at the suntopia tropical next door last year and we were glad we did.

Here you go-

Family rooms with Kids' Den have sliding doors and sleep up to 2 adults and 2 children, with a double bed in the bedroom and a separate Kids' Den with bunkbeds, TV and Playstation® instead of a lounge area, and a shower over bath.

Select rooms sleep up to 3 adults with twin beds or a double, and a double sofa-bed in a separate lounge area. Facilities are as Double rooms, with the additional benefits of a whirlpool bath with shower over bath, DVD player and poolside location.

Suites sleep up to 4 adults, with a king-size bed and double sofa-bed in a separate lounge area. Facilities are as Family rooms with the additional benefits of extra space, private air-conditioning, whirlpool bath with shower over bath, bathrobes and slippers.

Has anyone been more recently? Can not decide between select room and a suite as want a room away from the main building (have a 2 year old who wakes easily).

Can anyone shed light on which is best and the location? As someone said, there is hardly any information online at all. Thank you

SUITE, a whole different holiday, well worth the extra £'s. We have done both the suite and the kids den, such a difference.

Hi we are going to HV in July and have 10year old and 7 year old - the room option was a suite but does this mean the kids will have to share a double sofa bed - this could be a disaster!! Anyone know if there's an option to get a single bed put in as well?
