There is a dive shop on site at the CDM, but after checking out the local dive shops in Bayahibe I found Casa Daniel Diving to be the best. I have done many dives with them and found them to be a very good dive shop, especially for beginners as we had one in our group.

Rather duplicating the list of Villa Iguana above, but with an outlet on the beach right by Casa del Mar, is Seavis Bayahibe: http://www.seavisbayahibe.com/welcome.htm Their hut is directly on the beach parking lot so you may be able to easily walk down and ask questions. Scuba Fun and Casa Daniel are impressive professional organizations, but Demi's sound really interesting taking out small groups of self-directed divers. http://divingdr.com/

Lots of options!

Denise just emailed me some info...

Diving DR

http://divingdr.com/our-boat/

Here is the info from Denise:

Well we started doing these fun trips and cruises mainly for divers coming with non diving family members, so they can have some fun together. Of course if the boat is available we can offer the cruises for anybody.

As you've seen on our website http://divingdr.com/our-boat/ we have a small diving boat that can accommodate maximum 8 people (non divers), but we recommend no more then 6 people for private groups, that way it does not feel crowded (it is not a cruise catamaran - haha)

The sunset cruise is about 2 - 2.5 hours leaving from Bayahibe Bay, we do not have special days of the week set like the resort sport centers. We are flexible and trying to accommodate our customers schedule. Minimum is 2 people per cruise.

Prices

For a couple the price is 145 USD and includes snack, local drinks - santo / cuba libre or presidente and a bottle of wine as well

For 3 people and more is 50 USD per person - price includes snack, local drinks - santo / cuba libre or presidente

Hope that I answered all your questions

If you need more info or want to contact me, please email me at info@divingdr.com

Thanks Denise

Sounds like a fun way to watch a beautiful sunset!

Happy Travels All!

We dove with vlad/denise today.

http://divingdr.com

They got a large boat for our group (26 in group mixed divers & snorkelers). Great trip for everyone! The fruit and rum was an added bonus. Thanks for getting this figured out for us...we had a great time!
