Coastal footpath

Hey everybody, so when I book a destination I haven't ever been to I like to know as much as I can. I had seen a map of Bayahibe village on another forum and it shows a path from Dreams to another reef just past the village where you can snorkel. 2 questions: how long would it take to walk? And is it advisable? OK three: has anyone here snorkeled there? Is it worth leaving resort ( yes I can count its four questions :)

You have about 7 - 10 minute beach walk to Bayahibe, 5 minutes through the village and 3 - 5 more minutes and you are on Magallanes beach. Some people go and snorkel there, just make sure you do go out (to the sea) too far, there is a boat traffic and you might get hurt.

If you look at this album

you will see how it looks like, the last picture is from the beach. There are more fish to see because there are not as many people as by the resort.

Happy Travel
