Trips From Dreams La Romana

Hi, We are travelling to DLR on 1st August and I am just looking for some information regarding day trips. There are 8 of us and we like the look of Sanoa Island by catamaran & speedboat . Are there any others people would recommend. And is it better to book before we leave the UK ? There are some pre-bookable with British Airways but was hoping that someone would be able to advise of the cost if we book whilst on holiday. Many Thanks.

If you are booking with Seavis Tours or Pro Excursions definitely book ahead of time as the excursions are not run daily but many run just weekly. There are no cancellation fees, you pay the day of the excursion.

Would highly recommend either of these outfits over the Dreams partner (Amstar) because the service, price, and experience is so great with these 2 private outfiys a short walk from the resort.

We've done the Saona Island/Natural Pool/Piton Rocks/mangroves tour in motorboats with Seavis, and the Catalina Island/Casa De Campo/River Chavon tour with Pro E just last April. I would consider either the Saona VIP tour or the Catalina Isnald tour with Pro E if you want to experience a beautiful new luxury sailing cat. Their Quetzal is gorgeous, and we enjoyed an amazingly relaxing day on her with an excellent staff. If you want a more adventurous day the motorboats with Seavis are great, also a great staff.

One note - the girls wanted to have access to a bathroom at all times and we were looking for a relaxing daysail so the Quetzal having 4 heads also helped.

Enjoy!
