Iberostar Tucan/Quetzal - room advice for people with kids

HI there!

we are gojng to be staying at Quetzal for two weeks with two small children, any advice on a room request? we are looking to be away from noise (pool/restaurant areas during day time and animacion/theater areas at night time) and possibly close to the beach, any specific buildings we should ask for? we have a std type room booked.

thank u so much!

problem being with what you want is tricky

if you dont want to be near the pool then you will be up by the restaurants, due to the pool being so big.

We always stay nearer the beach than the restaurants, and have never had problems with excessive noise from the pool

Tucan side i would ask for building 11/12/13

Quetzal side i would ask for 21/22/23

buildings 14 tucan side and 24 quetzal side are central but you will get the noise coming from adjoining resorts

It's been a few years since we were at the Quetzal, but both times our rooms overlooked the area where the flamingos and other birds spent the night. The birds were as loud or louder than the people. That may be something to keep in mind if you are trying to get little ones to nap during the day.
