seating plan

Juat about to book TC holiday to IBT and want to know the seating plan on TC planes from Gatwick in April. We went to Cuba same time last year and there were rows of seats at the back of their planes which were just two instead of 3..Hoping Mexico flights are the same. This is a deal breaker for us as it makes the flight so much more bearable.

1. Re: seating plan

Do a dummy booking on their website and you will see the seating plan..........I have just done a dummy booking for April 2nd - 16th and the seat plan is the original A330 with the downstairs toilets and the seats of two as you mentioned in your posting.

I flew to Florida last year with TC, be prepared for a cramped flight. Packed in like sardines.

I must admit I find the 33" pitch seats quite comfortable

and me, I thought the flight to Cuba was excellent and really comfortable seats and legroom for both of us. Thank you for all of this. Much appreciated

The 33" seat pitch on the original A330 is more than you would get on a schedule aircraft being offered by Virgin or BA who only offer 31" seat pitch in their economy cabins.

For information, TC charge an extra £5 per person each way to select the rows of 2 at the rear of the aircraft.

Its not the pitch thats the problem, its the width of the seats. I found easyjet to have more comfortable seats on short haul.

They do now. Ordinary seats are £12, twin seats are £17.

They were £24 each when I checked earlier with no distinction between rows.
