If you look on google earth, you’ll see that it’s seemingly in the middle of nowhere but having said that it has Agios Fokas Beach Club in one side and Michelangelo Beach Resort on the other. Whether these are open to non residents - who knows, but it’s not near a village and 9 km from Kos town.

You’re a captive audience!

Hope someone who has stayed can put you in the picture a bit more but from going to Kos since the early 1990s, this type of resort is rarely within walking distance of villages though most seem to provide shuttles to the nearest centre of population be it town or village.

September weather wonderful.

I too was looking at this place for next year. But after doing a bit of research ti does look too far out of anywhere!

An AI within civilization in Psalidi is Nirides Beach. First time AI next year for this gem of place.

We stayed there this July on a SC basis and can recommend.

It has probably been over 10 years since we stayed there and unless things have changed there really is nothing close by,we used to get on the bus into Kos Town most evenings.

On the plus side the bus did stop directly outside of the hotel and the hotel itself really was very nice, hopefully someone who has stayed more recently can update matters.

@scaffolder1888. Yes Psalidi does not have a plethora of bars and tavernas, but as you say Kos town is close by. Walkable in 30-40 mins. Cycle in 10 mins and of course the bus.

There are 4 tavernas to speak of and a couple of bars. With the furthest a 10 min walk from the hotel and the closest is directly across the road. Each taverna has wonderful views and you can even eat your meal at a table directly on the beach.

Generally, people try different tavernas and usually visit their favourite a few times. Which begs the question how many tavernas do you need?

The OP did say they are concerned that the Dimitra is a bit far out. Well Nirides Beach isn't far from anything really and is a good alternative. (Maybe a better alternative)

The only thing is Nirides is going AI for the first time next year, so nobody knows how their AI is or is going to be. However, the food on offer this year was of good quality and plenty of choice (Breakfast, lunch and snacks)
