Skala - Moped Hire and use of Credit Cards

Hey all, im off to Skala in July for two weeks and was just wondering a couple of things:

* Can you hire mopeds and how easy is it to drive out there, is it quite quiet on the roads? I really want to explore the island with my wife and mopeds would be perfect for us

* Can you use BarclayCards / Visa's in the restaurents and bars?

Thanks all

There is a Scooter Rental place which opened in Katelios last year, all scooter are brand new as of last year and are well looked after. The guy that runs it is English and offers a great bit of island touring advice, well worth getting to from Skala

Yes, it's called K1 and it is situated next to the bakery on the main road through Katelios.

Here is its website.

It only seems to hire 50cc scooters and Quads. No big motorbikes.
