Skala in Cephalonia would probably suit you, especially if you hire a car for at least some of the time.

Skala is lovely. Check some of the earlier posts for more details and could be just what you're looking for. We love Elounda too and there are plenty of good threads on the Elounda Forum for you to see. Both resorts are wonderful and will have everything you'll need if you choose either one

Skala would be ideal or maybe Lassi. Whilst Lassi is a little busier than Skala it is still very quiet compared to busier resorts on Corfu etc. I like Lassi because you can pop over to Argostoli in the evenings and wonder around the busy square and main shopping streets people watching!

Either one you'll have a fab time.

We have been to a lot of Greek Islands and on the mainland over the years but once we discovered Cephalonia we have never looked back. That was in 2000. If you want a quite relaxing holiday with places to go to, a car is recommended. A 3 -7 day hire will only set you back about £19 a day all in. (23 EURO) Then it will not matter to much which resort you choose.
