I doubt if any of the tavernas are open after 12 and there are no bars at all.

You will have to go farther afield if you are looking for night life .

It is a very quiet place.

Hi Shopaholic, as Colin says there are no bars in AG and the taverna's are usually closed by midnight. This is the reason why we never returned to the resort, there was no night time atmosphere, in the day though it is perfect for relaxing on the beautiful beach and having lunch at one of the taverna's but the lack of evening entertainment was why we decided on never returning. Plenty of people enjoy the quietness though but for us we were bored of an evening. You could go over to Sans Stefanos of an evening, this is the resort we now holiday at, plenty of taverna's and bars with entertainment but nothing rowdy just enough going on to ensure a great evening.

Thank you Colin and Rosey, i think we will have to venture out. Any idea of taxi prices to Sans Stephanos and Sidari? We will probably go to both to see which is best at night. Can cope with total relaxation daytime, but not ones for back in your room by 12.

Sounds good! Thanks Trish, we will do that. Glad there are a couple of options for night time. Would you return to AG or is it really too quiet?

Pagi is a lovely and very small villages set high above Agios Georgios, it is a very long walk uphill so you would have to arrange for transportation in the evening, we did walk there during the day and also visited during an evening festival and free transport was provided for the journey but that was a special occasion, the road is very dark of an evening so definetly order a taxi if you do decide to go, like I say a very long walk.
