Is there a "hop on, hop off " bus that would take you around

Hi, does anyone know of a bus like this that I can spend a few hours to tour around Macau?

Do they have any stop around the hydrofoil terminal ?

Any input would be greatly appreciated

Thanks

There is, but with bad reviews. I would not take it. You only have a few hours, may want to define where you want to visit, take a taxi there. You can see the views along the way. Open-top, double decker bus would have been nice. But I don't think the time would match yours very well.

BTW: the term "hydrofoil" is no longer used. Those are the last generation. No more hydrofoil in service. Now they are all jets. Some are jet catamarans, some are jetfoils - which have a hydroplane underneath water to lift up the ferry body at high speed. Same principle, just now no more long axle propellers.

The historic city centre in Macau is tiny and much is in a pedestrian only area so its easiest to simply walk. See the following for a nice day trip to Macau

Taxi or public bus can get you to the heart of the city centre (Senado Square) quickly. From there, everything is intuitive to find, just use one of the handy maps they provide at the Macau ferry terminals.

One of the most impressive changes that you will notice is the attention, care and restoration that has gone into the attractions included within the UNESCO World Heritage - Historic City Centre of Macau designation. Places like the Mandarin House are now very good attractions that make a lovely way to spend 45-60 minutes. Even the old Dom Pedro IV Theatre (oldest theatre in Asia) is now open to the public for visitation. Here is a trip list with some suggested walking suggestions for how to explore the Historic Centre of Macau. This might be useful.

Hi I just returned from Macau and went on the hop on hop off bus tour. It takes 45 mins to complete the tour without getting off, costs $150 HKD, leaves from the Macau Ferry Terminal every 45 mins. I got off at the Point 16 stop which is a 10 minute walk to the square and then there are signs to the Old Ruins of St Paul etc, also got off at the Red Market stop and walked through the street markets to the right of the red market building. You can use your ticket over 2 days,. Other interesting stops would be the Grand Lisbon Casino, Macau Tower & the old temple. Worth doing for a change of scenery from the Cotai Strip.

SydneysWest,

Would be great if you could add a review for your hop-on, hop-off experience. Here is the link if helpful.
