2 days, 3 nights cultural triangle

We (2p) will visit SL next september en we would love to visit a part of the cultural triangle. I would love to visit Sigiriya, Dambulla, P'ruwa and do a jeep safari in one of the NPs.

I've got three questions:

1. Wat is the best way to travel to the triangle? Do we need a private driver of is their any accurate Public transport? We will start our journey in Colombo.

2. Wat is the best place to stay, Sigiriya, Habarana, P'ruwa? Any hotels you recommand?

3. Can we arrange our tours while we're there, of should we do this in advance? Especially a safari to one of the parks, since it is the time of the 'Gathering'.

Thank you! Marleen

1. Best is hiring a car with driver/guide.

3. You can book a safari on the spot.

2. P'ruwa is a bit offcentre. The other two are good as are Dambulla and Giritale.

All the best,
