Nice bars and restaurants?

Hi,

My friends and I are staying at the Lenaki apartments on 1st June. Wondering about places to eat that will be nice but not hugely expensive? Also wondering about bars, hopefully looking for somewhere we can have a dance?! Will there be anywhere like that open in June?

Everywhere is open and a taverna called the caravan is very reasonable as the majority are in kos as for dancing you don't say what kind disco, ballroom? Been to kos 3 times and the only dancing ive done is Greek dancing

Hi there

For us, one of the best ( and inexpensive) restaurants is "Tospiti tou Psariou" which is in the backstreets of Kos Town and specialises in fish although they have many other dishes on the menu.

This is the place to look for...

Hi there

Yes I agree the Caravan taverna in Kos Town was the best taverna that we visited during our weeks visit, its located in the surburb of Lambi which isnt the prettiest of places but dont let that put you of as the food and the atmosphere make up for the lack of view, just make sure you make a reservation as after 7.00 pm you wont get a seat.

You won't go far wrong with the caravan the owner has scan will see to all your needs and also la Strega is a very good resteraunt both on the same road directions from lenaki right out of lenaki walk down to main road straight over walk down this short road and you will see captains hotel directly in front of you if you take the right 50mtrs on your right is the la Strega turn left and walk for a few minutes straight you will see the caravan on your right this is the only resteraunt on the street this way enjoy

Also try mummy's cooking on Bouboulinas:

As you come down Bouboulinas from Lnaki direction, it's on the right. Closed on Sundays.

If you go to the bottom of Bouboulinas to dolphin square, turn left on to Kanari and there is a dancing bar/club on the right about 50m down. I can't remember what it's called, maybe Fashion??

I should think so. I'm pretty sure Mummy's Cooking is open all year round apart from maybe January.
