Koko - Southern Palms

Just read the sad news that Koko, the most famous resident of the Southern Palms hotel, died early this morning March 17th. Koko had been with the hotel for almost 50 years and will be well known to anyone that's stopped there before.

So so sad! Our daughter's first thing when we arrive at Southern Palms as we check in, is to run and see Koko!

We will all miss Koko VERY much. The singing in the mornings was music to my ears and signalled the beginning of another sunsplashed day in Paradise.

Koko will be so missed... sad to realize he will no longer be part of the magic of SP. It is a shame this beautiful and intelligent bird is gone.

We've always visited Koko during our stay in BDS. So sorry he's gone.
