iberostar daiquiri

Hi,

Does anyone know if they do any night time fishing trips for my husband and 14 year old lad. If so, any into as to how long out, sort of times and prices?

Thanks

Is it also best to book any trips with the rep or do they have people on the beach who do trips?

Thanks again

Hi Amanda

It's unlikely you'll get a boat charter at night if that's what you mean. The boats usually return to the marina by 4.30 and I was told by a skipper that night trips are not permitted because most Cubans think the fishing is better on the north side of the Florida Strait ...

The fishing from the Melia pier is good at night, however, if you're bringing any gear of your own, with some big snapper and barracuda around. There are no organised trips as such but it's only a short walk down the beach from all the hotels. The bridge is also good but getting there is a longer walk or short cab-ride
