Anybody going to Villa Cojimar Dec 18 to Jan 1

My wife and i will be spending Christmas and New Years at the Cojimar.

Cant wait only 6 days left.

Anybody else going at this time?

Also cool places to fish?

Or good spots for shell collecting?

And lastly Off-resort hiking?

My advice is if its your first time and you've not yet done the catamaran excursion then plan on it. Once you get there check the weather and try to book on the best day. The snorkeling is fun and they bring you to Playa Pilar beach, the best. We arrive New Years eve for a week. This will be my 4th time there. 3rd time for the wife and kids.

Oh yeah, at the morning buffet grab a bunch of the small bananas and bring them to feed the fish. Just don't feed the barracuda's ;-)

Mike, you can go to the bridge outside the resort. There will be local fishermen there. They can point you in the right direction.

I meant to tell you in My PM to you, that you could walk the road for a good portion of the distance to "Shell Beach" if you want. Eventually , you will have to get to the beach to access it.

Have a great vacation!

Def take lots of water Just got back from Cuba saw a couple of people dealing with dehydration ... much easier to drink a beer in between water otherwise it could be just water and rest the next couple of days.hubbiie fishes the flats at the end of resort. ... Bone fish. Might have to fight the kite boarders.....enjoy

video worked for me. Sounds great, Did they really make all these changes? It would be nice if the food improved ;-)

As long as the beach hasn't changed I'm happy.
