I hope you had a great vacation. How was the beach? Was the ocean nice and calm? Did you have good weather? We are leaving for the Sol Cayo Guillermo on the 21st.......

Yes we had a nice vacation. Weather was great, very hot though. The beach is narrow when the tide is In but grows quite a lot when the tide is out. The water was warm and quite calm. Really it was a beautiful beach. I highly recommend going to Pilar Beach, it is really beautiful.

No, the MCG is not the right resort for you, especially in September, when it's at low capacity.

Patrick

Listen to Cayo Largo2 .

This is not a place where 3, "party seeking" guys would have a good time at.

Maybe research the Tryp on Cayo Coco, or resorts at Varadero.

I have to agree Patrick L, this is a very quiet family resort. If your looking for a fun atmosphere I recommend an adults only resort in Cancun MX, much more of a party zone!

Can you tell me about the bungalows please? Have seen them mentioned here and there ...wondering if they are worth an extra 20 per day.Thank you.

I don't think so. They seemed to be off the beaten path and away from everything. Never saw the inside so I don't know how much of an upgrade they really offer.
