restaurants near kapparis

Hi we are staying in kapparis in may and woukd like some ideas of nice traditional type restaurants to visit whilst there, doesn't have to be in kapparis as we have a car. Last time we were there we went to makis place in derynia which was great and reasonably priced so something else like that would be great. We also have children so needs to be child friendly too. Thanks in advance

If you have a car there are lots of lovely places in Protarus to eat, all are child friendly as the Cypriots love children, you could also drive to Sotira village probably about a ten minute drive where you will find Mousikos Taverna, the food is fantastic , the locals use this restaurant where you would be advised to book. Also in Protarus is the fantastic Yianna Marie again great food and service also looks on to the Med.

We also stay in Kapparis and will be there again in May, as Janet suggested Mousikos in Sotira is great, we always visit at least once. You have Faliros or Karas in Kapparis for local food and also Magazaki Kebab house. If you havent already been Thomas' Shack in Pernera is worth a visit, Cypriot food and a unique experience, pouring you own drinks and writing you own bill.
