Te Anau Evening Activities?

I had booked a glow worm cave tour tonight but unfortunately it's been cancelled due to flooding. Spent the afternoon tramping around the lake and seeing the wildlife park. Seems like most of the restaurants are ships are just about closing up at 9pm. Are there any evening activities that can be done near the town centre?

Ata Whenua - fiordlandcinema.co.nz/ata-whenua-shadowland

go for a walk

read a book

sit down by the lake and watch the stars - possibly not much good on a cloudy night.

enjoy :)

Very little to do in Te Anau at night, Its a quiet laid back place and that is one of the reasons some of us live here. Queenstown is the recognized king of Evening activities in the southern area.

A great companion, a nice meal and a good NZ Pinot noir. What more could you want?
