Which hotel has best beach/ kite surfing

Hi

Please could someone let me know which hotel on the island has the best beach.

Ideally I am looking for an adults only hotel so either the Melia Cayo Santa Maria or the Royal Hideaway.

Does anyone know if it is possible to do kitesurfing on the island?

Thanks

THe Royal hideaway is on cayo Ensenachos, and from what I have read and heard has 2 great beaches, more

calm waters.

THe MCSM in on Cayo Santa Maria and has great long

strech of beach sharing with Barcelo, Las dunas and

the Sol. I have been to MCSM 5 times and one to Las dunas and have seen a kite surfer on 2 occasions

at MCSM and this year one a Barcelo.

Someone was kite surfing outside Barcelo this year.

RH has calm seas so better off at MLD,MCSM or Barcelo

RHE is definately more protected, so if you are taking your own kitesurfing rigging and plan on getting some in, would recommend the Melia.

There were several kite surfers at the stretch of beach just east of the Barcelo. There is plenty of room there and it's not so crowded. On a couple of the days the wind was really blowing and the people in the water was the kite surfers.

The beach at Melia Cayo Santa Maria is awesome!!! When we were there, there was very little wind so it wouldn't have been good for kitesurfing. Consider Cayo Guillermo - have seen lots of people kitesurfing in front of the Sol, Melia and Iberostar Daiquiri. There's usually a better breeze/wind in Cayo Gillermo IMHO
