What is the nightlife like near the hotel: Barcelo Santiago in Puerto de Santiago?

Where's the nearest place for the best night life?

Does the barcelo santiago hotel hire beach towels? and do men have to wear long trousers in the restaurant?

Have to agree with tagstrips about the hotel entertainment, it is pretty dire, you can set your watch by the Oompah band - there is not much really in the way of anything - the only place I like is Route 66 Sunday to Thursday Old Dogs New Tricks, Friday Predator and Saturday Traveller. It is directly over the road from the Barcelo. A couple of doors down is the Courtyard more for the older generation and a lot of karaoke as is the El Marques. Other than that you might find something in Los Gigantes, we are off to the Harbour Bar this evening, or there is Highland Paddy and the Green Corner.
